Dc motor components
COMMUTATOR :
Commutator is a part of motor and generator .It convert ac to dc (in generator) and dc to ac (in motor) .It is made by greater than 2 number of copper path. Each copper path are insulated & copper path are separated one to another, its called commutator segment.
ROTOR COILS : - Rotor or Armature coil is made cu or al . Coil are winding in armature slots
It is highly insulated. Coil are insulated by thin layer of burnish.
coil end connected in commutator slot in parallely .

D-ARSONVAL GALVANOMETER
D-ARSONVAL GALVANOMETER :-
Construction :- Moving Coil, Suspension, Damping, Indication, Zero Setting,
1/ Moving Coil :-It is the current caring element. It is either rectangular or circular in shape and consist of a no of turns of fine wire . This coil is suspended so that it is free to turn about its vertical axis of symmetry.It is arranged in a uniform, radial, horizontal magnetic field in air gap b/w pole pieces of a permanent magnet and icon core

Measurement of Power &Wattmeters , power dc circuit
power dc circuit :
The power taken by a load from a dc supply is given by the product of reading of an ammeter and a voltmeter when connected in the circuit . POWER ,P=VI
It should be remembered that the ammeter and voltmeter require power for their operation and allowance must be made for this. at AC network power, P= VICOS$
$ = Angle between V and I
